Discussion Groups

This section of our site is designed to be a place where people can meet, networks can form, affinity groups start, and collaboration happens.  Our Churchnet Forums (see links above) are a place where any member can post questions or comments on any subject.  Non-members can read, but only members may post comments or ask questions.  Becoming a member is free and easy.  Just click the JOIN THE NETWORK link above. Once you agree to the "terms of use" statement you will be able to post to our forums.  You will also be able to take advantage of our Relationship Network to form Discussion Groups.

In addition to our general Churchnet Forums, we want members to be able to start or join small Discussion Groups.  Some of the discussion groups are “open” to any member.  Others have been started “by invitation only” by our members.  You may click the START A DISCUSSION GROUP link to begin your own group.  The member who starts the Discussion Group serves as its moderator.  You will have the opportunity to choose whether the group is "open to any member" or "by invitation only."  If you are interested in joining an "invitation only" group you may send an e-mail to help@thechurchnet.org.  We will pass your request on to the moderator of the group.  The moderator may choose to invite you; however, we do not control discussion group invitations.

It is our hope this Relationship Network will be a helpful resource as church leaders form discussion groups around common concerns and ministry issues.  We believe all our ministries are strong as we learn to collaborate and serve each other.  After you create a Discusson Group you will be able to select it from the list of groups and edit the settings or invite participants.

Bible Verse of The Day

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.” (James 3:17-18)
